Matt Welle

Matt Welle is the current Chief Executive Officer at Mews. Prior to their current position, Welle served as the Director of Sales & Marketing at The Emblem Hotel from April 2013 to January 2014. Matt was in charge of commercial affairs for the brand-new lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Prague. From February 2012 to April 2013, Welle was the Director of Sales for Eastern Europe & Russia for Hilton Worldwide. In this role, they were responsible for sales in the region of Eastern Europe, Russia and C.I.S, covering a total of 23 Hilton hotels across 4 different brands. With a pipeline of approximately 50 hotels that will open in the coming 3 years, this is one of Hilton's fastest growing regions. From February 2008 to August 2009, Welle served as the Assistant Director of Sales for Hilton Prague & Hilton Prague Old Town. In this role, they were the International Sales Manager, representing both Hilton Prague and Hilton Prague Old Town. Their main focus was on the international meetings and incentive markets. Matt also served as the Cluster Director of Sales for Hilton Prague & Hilton Prague Old Town from September 2009 to January 2012 and as the Sales Manager for Hilton Prague from April 2006 to December 2008.

Matt Welle graduated with a Bachelor in Hospitality Management from Hotelschool The Hague. Afterward, they attended KSE for further education in the field.
