Crystal Martinez Gonzalez

Crystal Martinez Gonzalez has a diverse work experience. Crystal most recently worked at MALDEF as the LA Parent School Partnership Program Director, starting in October 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Parent School Partnership Program Associate at the same organization from June 2020 to October 2021. In 2019, Crystal worked as a Development and Outreach Intern at Human Rights Watch. Before that, they served as a College Coach and Academic Tutor at the Neighborhood Partnership Program Occidental College from January 2018 to February 2020. Crystal also gained experience as an Intern and Team Leader at Galileo Learning from June 2018 to August 2019. Additionally, they completed an internship with Fundación Argentina Educación Cultura Organización (FAECOS) in 2019, where they contributed to a project on promoting children's right to play and integrated human rights education into the curriculum.

Crystal Martinez Gonzalez attended Occidental College from 2016 to 2020. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Diplomacy and World Affairs, with a focus on Latin American Studies.
