Jared Gonzalez

Jared Gonzalez possesses a diverse background in civic engagement, legal services, and policy debate. Currently, Jared serves as a Development Intern at MALDEF, managing company records and supporting fundraising initiatives. As the Founder of CivicStars, Jared leads interactive civic engagement lessons for over 100 students in LA County, with plans to expand operations to the East Coast. In addition, Jared is the Captain of the CAMS Policy Debate Team, facilitating enrollment, researching, and presenting lessons while actively competing in local and national circuits. Jared's involvement with the UCLA Anderson School of Management as a Riordan Scholar includes leading a team in a Stock Market Competition. Other experiences include outreach with Mil Mujeres Legal Services and grassroots organizing with TurnUp Activism. Jared is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at Dartmouth College, following a strong academic foundation at the California Academy of Mathematics and Science.
