Federico Fregoso Contreras

Federico Fregoso Contreras is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the energy and procurement sectors. Currently serving as Senior Counsel at Mexico Pacific since October 2023, Federico previously held the position of General Counsel at PEMEX Procurement International, Inc., from November 2021 to October 2023. With a long tenure at PEMEX from January 2001 to November 2021, Federico advanced through various roles, including Legal Manager of Contracts for both the Upstream and Midstream Division and the Midstream and Downstream Division. Federico holds a Master of Laws in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from the University of Houston and a Master of Business Law from Universidad Panamericana, alongside an Attorney at Law degree from Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco.
