Brent Williams

Brent Williams is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in employment law and complex litigation. Serving as Vice President and Chief Employment & Complex Litigation Counsel at Unum since 2000, Brent leads a team of ten, addressing employment law issues within a large organization of over 9,000 employees. Previous roles at Unum include managing the Complex Litigation Unit and overseeing numerous class action litigations and regulatory investigations, with a track record of defending the company against various legal challenges. Prior to Unum, Brent served as a Lieutenant Commander in the Judge Advocate General Corps of the United States Navy, managing legal services for a substantial client base. Brent holds a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, along with several professional development programs related to finance and leadership at Unum.
