James Newhall, PE, SE, is a seasoned Structural Engineer with extensive experience in analyzing and designing structural systems using various materials, including masonry, concrete, steel, and wood. Currently serving at Meyer Borgman Johnson since October 2017, James previously held structural engineering roles at Gannett Fleming and Caruso Turley Scott Inc., where responsibilities included performing structural inspections and contributing to a wide range of projects from airports to multi-story buildings. James has also gained valuable experience through internships at JPMorgan Chase, HDR, and Core Structure Group, focusing on corporate real estate, transportation, and structural design. Educated at Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, James has also pursued studies in International Studies and Civil Engineering at the American University in Dubai.
