Ingrid Dykeman is an experienced music educator and clinician, currently serving as the Music Education Coordinator and lecturer at Hope College since August 2017. Alongside this role, Ingrid works as an orchestra clinician at Meyer Music and provides private string instruction through Ingrid's Music Studio since 1992. A seasoned cellist, Ingrid boasts extensive performance experience across various ensembles, including principal cellist for the Calvin College Alumni Community Orchestra and participation in the Grand Rapids Symphony. Ingrid has also contributed as a judge for the MSBOA Solo and Ensemble String events since 1991 and held the position of orchestra teacher in Kentwood Public Schools for 27 years, leading multiple orchestral programs. Additional roles include coaching at music camps and directing orchestras during summer sessions, underlining Ingrid's commitment to teaching and performance in string education. Ingrid holds a Master's degree in Music Education with an emphasis on string pedagogy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Hope College.
