Saija Bezuidenhout

Saija Bezuidenhout currently serves as the Head of Group Logistics for Central Warehouse and Outfitting Material Logistics at Meyer Turku, where responsibilities include leading a diverse team and developing logistics strategies aimed at increasing production productivity and reducing waste. Prior to this, Saija was a Lecturer and Doctorate Researcher in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Pretoria, focusing on business engineering and supply chain management while contributing to ethics in research. Experience also includes roles as a Trade Officer with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and Business Finland, managing international trade initiatives and advising high-level officials. Earlier career highlights involve project management within the defence industry at Patria and logistics management at YIT. Saija holds a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Pretoria, along with master's degrees in Industrial Engineering from LUT University and Business Administration from the University of Wales.
