Toni Sainio

Toni Sainio has over eight years of experience at Meyer Turku, currently serving as Head of Yard Infrastructure and Services, where responsibilities include overseeing logistics, maintenance of yard production machines, and managing multimillion-euro investments. Sainio previously held the position of Head of Hull Assembly, leading a team for steel work activities in ship projects while enhancing employee satisfaction through effective leadership. Additional experience includes a significant tenure as a Strategic Purchaser at PerkinElmer, where Sainio managed global sourcing strategies and supplier relations. Education includes a Specialist Qualification in Management and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Turku University of Applied Sciences. Sainio also serves on the Advisory Board for Blue Industry Park Oy.
