Matt March has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Matt joined LogDNA in 2020 as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Microsoft for over a decade. At Microsoft, they held the roles of Senior Data Engineer/Software Engineer and Software Development Engineer in Test. In these roles, they primarily worked on data pipelines for quality and engagement data for HoloLens and associated products, as well as tested various UI components and app features on the Windows Live Desktop Communications team. Matt also worked on developing test automation and tools to facilitate test execution. Matt began their career as a Software Test Engineer (Intern) at Agilent Technologies in 2008, where they focused on testing TCP traffic feature of a network traffic test system and parallelizing test suite runtime.
Matt March completed their Bachelor of Computer Science degree at The University of British Columbia from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and History from the same institution from 2000 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in "Introduction to Data Science" and "Social Network Analysis" from Coursera in June 2013 and November 2012, respectively.
