David Ekstrom

David Ekstrom has extensive experience in IT management and support roles. David currently serves as the VP/IT Director at M&F Bank NC. Prior to this, they worked as an IT Consultant at Newhope Church, providing technical and network support. David also served as the Infrastructure Manager at the City of Durham, overseeing infrastructure operations and managing large infrastructure projects. Additionally, they have held IT management positions at First Flight Federal Credit Union, Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools, Performance Fibers, MasterCard, Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Pfizer, and The Hartford. David'sresponsibilities have included managing staff, implementing new technologies, and supporting network systems.

David Ekstrom attended Bryant University from 1984 to 1985, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Information Systems with a focus on Business and Information Systems. David then transferred to the University of Hartford and completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering from 1985 to 1990. Besides their formal education, David also holds a certification in CompTIA A+.
