Karen McMillen

Karen MCMILLEN has a strong background in the banking industry. Karen started their career in 2006 at Mechanics & Farmers Bank, where they held various roles, including Manager Retail Credit and VP / Loan Operations and Documentation. In these positions, they managed all aspects of operations and documentation in the loan department, worked closely with lenders to ensure efficient loan closures, and developed and implemented training for loan operation and documentation. In 2019, Karen joined M&F Bank NC as the VP/ Director of Training, where they are responsible for directing training across all departments and assessing and implementing training plans.

Karen McMillen earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University, which they attended from 1990 to 1993. Prior to that, they pursued studies in the same field at Texas Tech University from 1984 to 1986, although they did not obtain a degree during this time.
