James Thompson

James Thompson has a diverse work experience in the legal field. James started their career as a Summer Associate at Chadbourne & Parke LLP in 2008. James then joined Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP as an Associate in 2011 and worked there until 2015. James continued their career as an Associate Attorney at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they returned to Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP as an Associate until 2019. Currently, they are working at MFA Financial as a First Vice President and Assistant General Counsel, a position they have held since March 2019.

James Thompson attended Baruch College from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Marketing Management. Following this, they enrolled at Fordham University School of Law from 2006 to 2009, obtaining a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law.
