Peter Goves

Peter Goves is currently the Global Head of DM Fixed Income Strategy Research at MFS Investment Management, a position held since November 2018, focusing on European rates and SSA markets. Prior to this role, Peter Goves served at Citi for over thirteen years, where responsibilities included being the Director of European Interest Rates Strategist and SSA Strategist, along with a role as European Credit Strategist in Fixed Income Capital Markets. Peter Goves has a strong background in generating relative value trade ideas for EMU government bond markets and analyzing high-grade and high-yield credit. Peter Goves holds an MSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Oxford. Early education was completed at Manchester Grammar School.
