Brad Beardsell

Brad Beardsell, CFA, currently serves as the Global Head of Investment Risk and Performance and Head of Equity Risk at M&G Investments since May 2018. Previously, Brad was a member of the CFA UK Careers Committee from October 2016 to December 2019 and participated in the CFA UK Mentoring Programme working group. Brad's extensive experience in fund management includes roles as Global Fund Manager at Aviva Investors, where responsibilities encompassed managing the Convertible Bond Fund and the Staff Pension Scheme's Global Equity Futures Fund. Additional roles at Aviva include serving as a Quant and Index Fund Manager and a Risk Analyst. Earlier experience includes working as a Risk Analyst at IRML, where monitoring clients' risk profiles was a key responsibility. Brad holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Alberta.
