Sunny Romo

Sunny Romo is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in equity investment and client relationship management. Currently serving as the Equity Investment Director at M&G Investments since June 2018, Sunny is responsible for the commercialization and communication of Japanese equity strategies and represents the Asia Pacific equities team in industry forums. Prior experience includes roles at the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association, where Sunny organized education and networking events, and Insight Investment, focusing on Asian institutional clients. Previously, Sunny held positions at Mizuho as a Japan Product Specialist and Equity Trader, as well as at GFI Group and Bloomberg, gaining diverse expertise across various asset classes and financial products. Education was completed at the University of Reading from 2002 to 2005.
