Yavini Chetty

Yavini Chetty is a seasoned professional in product governance with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as Head of UK Product Governance at M&G Investments since 2014, following roles as Senior Product Governance Manager and Product Documentation Manager in Retail Compliance. Prior experience includes work at J.P. Morgan Asset Management UK as part of the European Product Documentation team, as well as product development consultancy positions at First State Investments and Russell Investments. Yavini began a career in fund development at GAM and held the position of Pooled Product Manager at Barclays Global Investors. An academic background includes a Lectureship in Law at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, complemented by a Master’s in Environmental Law, an LLB, and a Bachelor of Social Sciences, all from the same institution.
