Ivan Acosta Pazmiño

Ivan Acosta Pazmiño is an accomplished engineer with extensive expertise in energy engineering and sustainable technologies. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering and Senior Engineering Project Manager at MG Sustainable Engineering, along with roles as an Associate Research Fellow at the University of Gävle and Director of the Solar Energy Research Network, Ivan has a strong focus on energy and climate change. Previous experience includes significant roles such as a Research Collaborator at Tecnológico de Monterrey and Imperial College London, where research centered on innovative energy solutions. Additionally, Ivan has a rich background in engineering roles spanning various organizations, along with a solid academic foundation that includes a Ph.D. in Energy Engineering and a Master's degree in the same field from Tecnológico de Monterrey, complemented by undergraduate studies in Mechatronics Engineering.
