Chris Hennessey

Chris Hennessey has a diverse work experience in product development and design. Chris started their career as a Design Engineer at npk industrial design in 1995 and worked there for three years. Chris then joined studio h2o as a Partner and Design Engineer in 1998. In 2001, they moved on to Polyconcept USA, Inc. where they rapidly rose to the position of Director of Product Development. Chris managed the design, development, sales, and distribution of novelty and private label consumer products. In 2006, they were asked to relocate to Hong Kong to become the General Manager of Polyconcept Hong Kong / ADM Interactive. In this role, they were responsible for managing the retail display products and private label consumer electronics division, working with major brands like Nokia, Blackberry, Samsung, LG, and Philips. Chris also developed private label electronic gifts for Pottery Barn, Target, and Unilever. After their tenure in Hong Kong, Chris Hennessey established their own company, Hennessey Design Services, where they worked as the Owner and Design Consultant from 2012 to 2017. Chris is currently the Director of Product Development at MGA Entertainment since 2017.

Chris Hennessey completed a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Industrial Product Design from Coventry University, from 1991 to 1995. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1991, Chris attended Shorecrest High School, but there is no information regarding any degrees or fields of study achieved during this time. In addition to these educational experiences, Chris obtained a UX Certificate from the Nielsen Norman Group in March 2017.
