Christy Thom

Christy Thom is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in talent management and instructional design. Currently serving as Director of Talent Management and Director of Learning and Development at MGM Resorts International since December 2018, Christy leads the implementation of digital learning solutions and oversees a comprehensive leadership training academy. Additionally, Christy is a partner at Weddings By Leigh, focusing on creating memorable wedding experiences for couples. Prior experience includes owning VF Marketing, where consultation and client relations were key components, as well as roles in education at various school districts. Christy's early career featured significant contributions to special event management at multiple hotels and casinos. Christy holds a Master of Education in Special Education from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
