Tanya Smith is an experienced professional in talent acquisition and recruitment, currently serving as the Regional Director of Talent Acquisition at MGM Resorts International since January 2022, after holding the position of Senior Manager for Talent Acquisition at LV Properties. Prior to this, Tanya worked as a Talent Acquisition Manager at Live! Casino & Hotel, where responsibilities included developing integrated recruitment solutions and enhancing operational processes. Tanya's career began at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, where various roles included Talent Acquisition & Employment Manager and Talent Acquisition Specialist, focused on fostering effective hiring practices and recruitment strategies. Earlier experience includes serving as a Compensation Coordinator at MGM Resorts International. Tanya holds an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from The University of Southern Mississippi and has accumulated extensive expertise in building recruitment teams and strategies throughout a career that spans over 15 years in the hospitality industry.
