Ron Holder

Ron Holder has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ron'smost recent position is as the Chief Operating Officer at MGMA, which they have held since September 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Temple Region Vice-President of Operations and Central Texas Cardiovascular Service Line Administrator at Baylor Scott & White Health from October 2013 to September 2019. In this role, they were responsible for executive leadership of various medical practices and hospital functions. Ron also took on additional responsibilities for the Cardiovascular Service Line and Radiation Oncology Department during their tenure. Before joining Baylor Scott & White Health, Holder held various positions at Scott & White Healthcare from November 2004 to October 2013, including Vice-President of Medical Specialties and Vice-Chair of Finance and Administration in the Department of Medicine. Ron also served as the Administrator of the Department of Surgery. Holder has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Midway College from July 2010 to May 2012, and as the Executive Director of the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Louisville from December 1999 to November 2004. Ron'searliest work experience was at the University of Kentucky, where they held the position of Associate Department Administrator in the Department of Surgery from September 1995 to November 1999, fulfilling various roles such as Interim Department Administrator, Financial Analyst, and TQM Coordinator.

Ron Holder's education history begins with their high school education at Glasgow High School. It is unknown when they attended this school or if they obtained any degree or field of study.

Subsequently, Ron attended the University of Kentucky from the year 1990 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

Later, Ron continued their education at the University of Kentucky from 1995 to 1998, pursuing a Master of Health Administration degree in Health Administration.

In addition to their formal education, Ron Holder has also obtained several certifications. In September 2001, they became a Certified Medical Practice Executive through the American College of Medical Practice Executives. Furthermore, in October 2011, they achieved the status of Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives. In December 2015, they attained the designation of Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Most recently, in June 2021, Ron obtained certification as a Certified Association Executive through ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership.
