David Jensen is an experienced leader in asset management, currently serving as the Director and Head of Asset Management at AIP Management, where responsibilities include overseeing a significant portfolio of over 30 infrastructure investments. Jensen has held various roles including Senior Asset Manager at AIP, focusing on optimizing asset performance, and Non Executive Board Member at MGT Teesside, contributing to the development of the largest dedicated biomass power plant globally. Previous positions include Interim CFO at LêLê, COO at Zanzibar Højskolen, and General Manager of Project Development and Investments at BWSC. Additionally, Jensen co-founded Better Energy Invest A/S and Clean World Capital, engaging in renewable energy financing and project development. MGT Teesside
MGT Teesside Ltd is a project company which will build, own and operate the Tees Renewable Energy Plant (Tees REP), a 299 MWe CHP biomass plant under construction. Construction began in August 2016 after financial close, with commissioning due to begin in 2019 and full commercial ops from early 2020. The Tees REP is a landmark renewable energy project. Costing £650m to build, it will be the largest dedicated biomass power plant in the world, and is the largest thermal-combustion power plant under construction in the UK today.
