Chris Sappenfield

Chris Sappenfield is a seasoned patent attorney with extensive experience in intellectual property law, particularly in the biotechnology, bioinformatics, artificial intelligence, medical device, and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving at MH2 Technology Law Group, LLP since March 2017, Sappenfield focuses on patent preparation, procurement, and providing legal opinions. Prior to this role, Sappenfield founded and led two nonprofit organizations, the Abandoned Child Foundation and Aivia Technologies, Inc., as well as holding senior legal positions at Abbott Laboratories, Ibis Biosciences, and Roche Molecular Systems. An educational background includes degrees from prestigious institutions such as the University of Oxford and Stanford University, culminating in a J.D. and LL.M. from the University of Miami School of Law.
