Kathleen Chapman

Kathleen Chapman is a seasoned patent attorney with extensive experience in intellectual property protection and client counseling. Currently serving at MH2 Technology Law Group LLP since September 2022, Kathleen previously worked at DEKA Research and Development from January 2015 to September 2022, focusing on in-house intellectual property matters. Kathleen's career includes a role as Assistant Counsel at the Naval Research Laboratory where responsibilities included technology transfer and co-founding the Gulf Coast Intellectual Property Association. As Of Counsel at Burns & Levinson LLP and Perkins, Smith & Cohen LLP, Kathleen provided intellectual property counseling and was registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office. Additionally, Kathleen taught patent prosecution as an Adjunct Professor of Law. With a Juris Doctor from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce Law School and a Master's degree in Meteorology from Penn State University, Kathleen combines a strong legal foundation with a robust technical background, having worked as a principal software engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation.
