J. Ryan Wallace has a strong work experience in the architecture and urban design field. J. Ryan has been working at MHTN Architects since November 2015, holding the position of Principal Architect & Urban Design Director. Before that, they worked at CRSA from January 2012 to December 2015, where they served as an Associate Principal. At CRSA, they were responsible for project management, marketing, and preparation of graphic and technical documents. J. Ryan also played a significant role in architectural, campus planning, urban design, and city planning projects. Prior to that, they worked as a Summer Intern at Fentress Architects in 2011, where they gained experience in construction administration for the modernization of Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX. J. Ryan began their career as a Capitol Development Intern at Utah Transit Authority in 2007.

J. Ryan Wallace has a strong educational background in the field of urban design and planning. J. Ryan obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Planning from the University of Utah, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Architecture degree with a concentration in Urban Design at North Carolina State University. J. Ryan attended North Carolina State University from 2008 to 2011.

In addition to their academic qualifications, J. Ryan Wallace also holds several certifications that further enhance their expertise. J. Ryan obtained the AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) certification in November 2016, demonstrating their professional competence in urban planning. J. Ryan also holds the Architect certification from the State of Utah Division of Professional Licensing, which they obtained in April 2016. Lastly, they acquired the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Associate certification from the United States Green Building Council in August 2013, indicating their proficiency in sustainable building practices.
