Kelsey Petty

Kelsey Petty has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. In 2017, they began working as an English Language Arts Teacher for Teach For America, as well as a Graduate Assistant for UM-Teach for America Office of Interim Certification, a Fellow for The Urban Leaders Fellowship, and an SAT/ACT Tutor for PrepNow Tutoring. In 2018, they took on the role of Grade Level Chair, English/Language Arts Teacher at Foundation Academies. In 2020, they were part of the Alumni Review Board for The Urban Leaders Fellowship. In 2021, they became a Reporting Specialist at Possip and a Director of Pedagogy at Miaplaza, Inc.

Kelsey Petty attended the University of Michigan from 2016 to 2017, where they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Educational Leadership & Policy. Prior to that, they attended SUNY Geneseo from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a B.A. in English Literature & Secondary Education.
