Perry Ann Reed

Perry Ann Reed is the current President at MIAMI CHILDRENS HOSPITAL. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director at WakeMed Children's Hospital & Women’s Hospital from January 2017 to December 2020. Reed also worked as the Director of Ethics & Palliative Care at Texas Children's Hospital from 2013 to 2017. Perry began their career as the Senior Vice President of Social Investment at Quinn Reed Associates in 2005 and held that position until 2013.

Perry Ann Reed has a Master of Science from Columbia University in the City of New York in Bioethics, a Doctor of Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Healthcare Leadership, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler in Health Care Administration. Perry also has an Executive Education Certificate from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in Board Management - Directors' Consortium, and a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University. Perry has a Post-Masters Healthcare Management Certificate from Fordham Gabelli School of Business. Perry is certified from Texas Children's Hospital in Texas Childen's Advanced Quality Improvement, WakeMed in WakeWay2Excellence: Process Improvement & Quality Safety Program, and the American College of Healthcare Executives as a Fellow (FACHE).
