Dan Foley

Dan Foley is director of the Great Miami Riverway. He facilitates the Riverway initiative, which is administered by MCD, on behalf of a coalition of cities, counties, and park districts. Prior to joining MCD in 2019, Foley served as a Montgomery County Commissioner from 2007 to 2018, the Montgomery County Clerk of Courts from 2000 to 2006, and as Montgomery County’s Assistant Ccounty Treasurer from 1994 to 2000. Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from Bowling Green State University, and a master of arts degree in humanities from Wright State University.
