Luis E. Diaz

Luis Diaz has over 25 years of experience in the educational field, currently serving as an Assistant Superintendent at Miami-Dade County Public Schools, where responsibilities include overseeing district-wide alternative education programs. Previously, Luis held roles as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, and principal, demonstrating a strong track record of improving low-performing schools to high-achieving status and achieving graduation rates of 88%. Luis Diaz has pursued advanced education, earning a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Nova Southeastern University, along with participation in the High Potential Leaders Program at Florida International University, and foundational studies at Florida State University - College of Education.
