Maria Varela has extensive experience in healthcare, primarily in occupational and biofeedback therapy. As a Program Manager and Biofeedback Therapist at Miami Jewish Health since 2008, Maria has provided treatment to individuals with various diagnoses, including Traumatic Brain Injury and Autism, while supervising a team of five. Prior roles include Occupational Therapist positions at Miami Hand Center, Children's Therapy Center, and Mercy, where Maria treated a diverse range of conditions across adult and pediatric populations. Maria holds a Master's in Health Administration from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Health Services from Florida International University.
