Monique Murfield

Monique Murfield is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of Supply Chain and Operations Management, currently serving as an Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Supply Chain Excellence at Miami University since May 2015. Monique has previously held the position of Assistant Professor of Logistics at Georgia Southern University and has extensive teaching and research experience as a PhD Candidate and Instructor at the University of Tennessee from August 2008 to May 2012. Monique's industry experience includes a role as a Buyer at Pressure Connections Corp., where responsibilities included managing purchasing contracts, coordinating inbound logistics, collaborating with internal teams to expedite customer orders, and conducting product training for new employees. Monique earned a PhD in Logistics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and International Business from Bowling Green State University.
