Chris Solgan has extensive experience in the legal and regulatory aspects of equities and options trading. Chris has held roles in various financial institutions, including MIAX Exchange Group, Intercontinental Exchange, Cboe Global Markets, Bats Global Markets (now Cboe Global Markets), National Stock Exchange, Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Morgan Stanley, and the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission. Throughout their career, Chris has been responsible for rule development, SEC engagement, market structure coordination, complex regulatory rule development, compliance coverage, and regulatory counsel. Chris has worked on a wide range of issues such as market data, fees, technology architecture, connectivity, member conduct, security listings, and legal issues related to equity capital markets and investment banking.
Chris Solgan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College (CUNY) in 1997. Later, they pursued a JD degree from New York Law School, which they completed in 2001.
