Sid Sahoo has extensive work experience in the technology and development field. Sid started their career at Siemens Public Communication Networks Ltd as a Senior Software Engineer in 1995 and worked there until 1998. Sid then joined Lucent Technologies as a Senior Engineer for a brief period in 1998. From 1999 to 2000, they worked at Sapient Global Markets as a Senior Engineer on the Equities Trading Platform for their client DLJ. In 2000, they joined Sapient Global Markets for their client Bear Stearns as a Tech Lead on the Brokerage Correspondent Clearance Platform. Sid also worked as a Tech Lead on the Multi-Asset Research Delivery Platform for Sapient Global Markets from 2000 to 2001. In 2001, they joined Sapient Global Markets for their client Bessemer Trust as a Tech Lead on the Wealth Management Enterprise CRM Platform. From 2003 to 2007, they worked at Sapient Global Markets for their client Citi Alternate Investments, starting as a Solution Architect and Team Lead and eventually becoming a Senior Manager Technology, Delivery Lead, and Development Manager. From 2008 to 2011, they worked at Sapient Global Markets for their client US Treasury as a Senior Manager Technology, Delivery Lead and Engagement Owner, and later as a Director of Technology, Development Lead, and Engagement Owner. Sid then joined RBC Capital Markets in 2011 as a Director, overseeing the Global Delivery of Strategic Initiatives for Fixed Income and Currencies IT. Since 2015, they have been working at MIAX Exchange Group, initially as a Director of Trading Systems Development and currently as a Vice President.
Sid Sahoo's education history includes a certificate program in executive leadership from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, which took place from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, where they studied from 1991 to 1995.
In addition, Sid Sahoo has obtained a certification in "Tackling the Challenges of Big Data" from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in October 2015.
