Joseph Palano has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Joseph began their career as a Physicist at Tufts-New England Medical Center, where they managed radiation treatment planning systems and conducted research on cancer treatment modalities. Joseph then transitioned into the field of technology, joining Fidelity Investments as a Network Engineer and later serving as the Lead/Principal Engineer for Enterprise IPAM Technology. At State Street, Joseph held the position of VP - Security Operations (Network Engineering Manager), where they oversaw the Managed Security Service and ensured regulatory compliance. Joseph then joined Steward Health Care as a Security Engineer, responsible for the growth and management of the Security Operations and Engineering team. Currently, Joseph works as a Principal Security and Network Engineer at MIB, leading the architecture, implementation, and support of critical security and network systems. Throughout their career, Joseph has demonstrated expertise in various domains of IT security, regulatory compliance, and project management.

Joseph Palano received a Master's Degree in Radiological Sciences from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, which they completed between 1992 and 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Lowell.
