Ortrun Schandl

Ortrun Schandl has a diverse work experience. Ortrun started in 2006 as a Marketing Assistant at Schallaburg Kulturbetriebsges.m.b.H. From 2008 to 2012, they worked for AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA, first as a Trainee and then as the Deputy Head of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA in Milan, Italy. In 2012, they moved to Warsaw and took on the role of Deputy Head of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA in Warsaw, Poland. Ortrun worked there until 2014. In 2016, they transitioned to a career in acting and worked for the company Werbung und Theater. Subsequently, they joined Life Radio GmbH & Co. KG in 2018 as a News and Moderation professional. Their most recent role was as an Event Moderator, Newsletter Video creator, and Voice Over artist at Sprecherin & Moderatorin starting in 2019. By 2023, they will hold the position of Newsdesk Editor-in-Chief at the Miba Group.

Ortrun Schandl's education history begins in 1990 when they attended the Piaristengymnasium Krems, where they pursued a Matura degree in AHS im humanistischen Zweig (Latin and Ancient Greek). Ortrun completed their studies at the high school in 1998. In 1998, they enrolled at the University of Vienna, where they studied Internationale Betriebswirtschaftslehre until 2005, earning a Magistra degree. Besides their academic pursuit, they also participated in language courses. In 1999, they attended EF Education First in Sydney, Australia, focusing on English language studies for one year. In the same year, they also completed a language program at EF Education First in Barcelona, Spain, specializing in Spanish.
