Joel Welch

Joel Welch has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Joel started as a Legal Assistant at Doyle Legal Corporation P.C. in 2010. From 2013 to 2014, Joel worked as a Holder Rep at the Office of the Indiana Attorney General before transitioning to a Junior Developer role, where they were responsible for the development and maintenance of web applications and help desk support. In 2017, they became an Application Developer, focusing on web-based application development and project implementation. From 2018 to 2019, Joel worked as a Helpdesk Coordinator at the Office of the Indiana Attorney General, overseeing ticketing systems, desktop support, user account management, and IT training. In 2019, they joined MIBOR as the IT Director, leading the management and support of internal information systems and providing end-user technology support.

Joel Welch obtained an Associate's degree in Business Marketing from Ivy Tech Community College between 2007 and 2009. Later, from 2009 to 2013, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Additionally, Joel obtained several certifications from CompTIA, including CompTIA A+ ce Certification in August 2017, CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification in August 2020, and CompTIA Network+ ce Certification in August 2020.
