Boris Sogrin

Boris Sogrin serves as the Technical Project Director at Polymetal Evrasia since November 2023 and has been involved with MIBRAG as a consultant since August 2021. Prior experience includes the role of Engineering Project Manager at Nornickel from April 2019 to April 2021, where leadership was provided for project offices and an investment project related to the "Southern Cluster," focusing on the reconstruction of the Zapolyarny mine. Boris previously held the position of Chief Project Engineer at Polymetal International plc from April 2004 to April 2019, overseeing project work for various mining and processing facilities across several regions in Russia. Earlier career experience includes the role of Deputy Head of the Mining Department at SPb Giprosakht from November 2002 to April 2004, involving project technical solutions and production calculations. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Mining Engineering, earned from Saint Petersburg State Mining University in June 2000.
