Head Of Support Americas at MIC Customs Solutions

Marco Pirker's work experience includes various roles at different companies. Marco started their career at MTU Aero Engines as a work student in 2007. Marco then joined MIC Customs Solutions in 2009, where they held roles such as Support Engineer, System Operator and Database Administrator, IT Project Manager, and Product Owner. Marco took a sabbatical break in 2017 for educational leave. Returning to MIC Customs Solutions in 2018, they worked as a Project Manager, General Manager Mexico, and is currently serving as the Head of Support Americas.

Marco Pirker attended the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. In addition to their degree, Marco has also obtained several certifications. These certifications include the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in July 2022, the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice, obtained in February 2018, the ITIL Practitioner Certificate in IT Service Management, also from AXELOS Global Best Practice and obtained in February 2018, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in November 2016.
