Sandra McKay

Sandra McKay is an accomplished academic and researcher with a strong focus on health policy and management. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Health Policy Management & Evaluation and as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto, Sandra also holds adjunct professorship at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University, and has affiliations as an Affiliate Scientist at the Institute for Education Research (TIER) with the University Health Network and as an Affiliate Researcher at Michael Garron Hospital. In addition, Sandra has extensive experience with VHA Home HealthCare, having held various leadership positions since 2008. Sandra's research background includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, focusing on balance and mobility issues in older adults. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Health Sector Management from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, a PhD in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Michigan, and degrees in Human Kinetics from the University of Windsor.
