Chris Fraser, Ed.D. has extensive work experience in the education sector. Chris currently serves as the Portfolio Director for U.S. Programs at the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to this, they held various roles at Relay Graduate School of Education, including Senior Dean and Executive Director of Relay Lab Schools from 2018 to 2020, Senior Dean and Dean of Relay Houston from 2016 to 2020, and Dean- Houston from 2013 to 2020. Chris also served as a Ferguson Education Leadership Fellow at Revere Public Schools and Broward County Public Schools from 2012 to 2013. In addition, they worked as a Graduate Intern at The Achievement Network from 2011 to 2012 and taught various subjects at YES Prep Public Schools from 2009 to 2011. Chris began their career in education as a Teach For America Corps Member at Houston ISD from 2005 to 2007 and subsequently held positions as Director of Emerging Markets and Senior Recruitment Director at Teach For America from 2007 to 2009.

Chris Fraser, Ed.D. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at the University of Florida from 2001 to 2005. Following this, from 2011 to 2012, they pursued a Masters of Education degree with a focus on Education Policy and Management at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Lastly, from 2017 to 2020, Chris Fraser obtained their Doctor of Education degree (Ed.D.) from Vanderbilt University.
