Shana Shaw

Shana works as an evaluation officer on the foundation’s Performance Insights team. She has extensive experience in K-12 education with other focus areas including postsecondary programs, nonprofits, and public organizations. In her previous role, Shana directed research and evaluation activities at the Texas Center for Educator Excellence. Her background and interests lie in educational research with a focus on educational policy analysis.

Shana earned her bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University, as well as a doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. After graduate school, she served as a data fellow with the Fort Worth Independent School District through Harvard University’s Center for Education Policy Research.
