Linda Emery is a seasoned legal professional specializing in data privacy and intellectual property law. Currently serving as a Data Privacy Law Partner at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP since July 2022, Linda previously held the position of Chair of the Data Privacy & Security Industry Team at Quarles & Brady LLP. With extensive experience in technology law, Linda has worked with consumer product, service, technology, and communications companies, focusing on data privacy and security, software licensing, and the Internet of Things. Linda's earlier roles include being an Intellectual Property Attorney and Shareholder at von Briesen & Roper, s.c., and serving as Vice President & Senior Counsel at Assurant Health and Charter Communications. Linda's legal career was initiated at Thompson Coburn LLP as a Litigation Attorney and Partner. Linda holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in Political Science from Northwestern University.
