Andrew Jhawar

Andy is a Senior Partner and Head of the Consumer & Retail Industry team of Apollo Management, L.P., having joined in February 2000. Prior to joining Apollo, Andy was an investment banker with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corporation and, prior to that, Jefferies & Company, where he focused primarily on the structuring, execution and negotiation of high yield debt and equity financing transactions.

Andy currently serves on the boards of The Fresh Market, Smart & Final, The Stand, LLC, and QDOBA Restaurant Corporation. He also previously served on the boards of Hostess Brands, Inc., Sprouts Farmers Market, Smart Foodservice Stores, CEC Entertainment, Smart & Final, General Nutrition Centers, and Rent- A-Center.

Andy graduated with an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and graduated, summa cum laude, with a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
