Germain Dumont

Germain Dumont currently serves as a Tire Performance Analyst in Motorsport/Supersport at Michelin, focusing on tire usage analysis and support for manufacturers and teams, alongside the development of tire models and vehicle dynamics. Previously, Germain held a position as a Rally Engineer Intern at BMA, where responsibilities included operational support for Rally2, Rally4, and Porsche 911 vehicles during major events, notably the preparation of a Porsche 911 for the Safari rally in Kenya. Germain also gained experience as a Field Test Engineer at ALTEN, managing prototype testing for Renault Trucks and Volvo Group, and supporting reliability and planning efforts. Germain holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from INSA Lyon and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.
