Benjamin Larson

Benjamin Larson serves as the Deputy Public Affairs Officer and Supervisory HR Specialist for the Michigan National Guard since May 2017, overseeing the Military Funeral Honors Program and personnel recruitment efforts. With a robust military background, Larson has held various leadership roles within the Michigan Army National Guard, including Strategic Plans Officer and multiple Company Commander positions. Notably, Larson coordinated significant strategic exercises and provided high-level support as an Aide-de-Camp to commanding generals. Additional experience includes deployment as an Antiterrorism and Force Protection Officer with U.S. Central Command and recruitment efforts for military-affiliated students at Davenport University. Larson holds a Master of Arts in Military and Strategic Leadership from American Military University and has completed various military training courses, enhancing expertise in military operations and leadership.
