Chad Althouse

Chad Althouse is an experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering, firefighting, and equipment maintenance. Currently serving as a Horizontal Construction Engineer in the Michigan Army National Guard since August 2010, Chad utilizes heavy equipment for construction projects and has also held roles as a Combat Engineer and Recruiter. In addition, Chad has worked as a Metal Fabricator at iQ Labs since September 2021, focusing on programming lasers and preparing parts for customers. As a Firefighter with the Hopkins area fire department, Chad engages in fire suppression and public service activities. Previous roles include Service Technician at Morrison Industrial Equipment, Farm Hand at Ybema Farms LLC, and positions in landscaping, sorting, and maintenance. Chad's practical experience is complemented by a brief educational stint at Hope College in 2010.
