Christina Cooper

Christina Cooper serves as the Assistant Director of Communications and PR for the Michigan Association of School Boards since March 2023. Prior to this role, Christina held various positions at Ronald McDonald House Charities Detroit from July 2016 to March 2023, including Chief Operating Officer and Director of Marketing, Development, & Operations, as well as Director of Marketing & Development. Notably, during Christina's tenure at Catholic Charities of Shiawassee and Genesee Counties from January 2013 to June 2016, leadership was provided in response to the Flint Water Crisis, coordinating efforts with multiple organizations. Additional experience includes a marketing consultancy at the DBT Center of Michigan in 2011 and an annual giving internship at the University of Michigan, where Christina contributed to a fundraising initiative that earned a CASE Bronze Medal Award. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in HR Management & Development from Michigan State University and a Master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Florida State University.
