Bob Thomas

Bob Thomas, IOM, CCE, CAE, CMP, serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Integrator at the Michigan Chamber of Commerce since August 1997, overseeing strategic implementation and daily operations. As Executive Director of the Michigan Chamber Foundation, Bob manages various programs and conducts strategic planning for non-profit organizations. Previous roles include Vice President of Operations, where Bob focused on core functions and collaboration with senior management, and Senior Director of Operations, coordinating special projects for the executive office. Additionally, Bob has been involved with the Michigan Association of Chamber Professionals since June 2004, managing strategic direction for over 50 events annually. Bob's early career includes a position as Advertising Assistant at Amway Corporation, coupled with a BA in Advertising/Public Relations from Grand Valley State University.
