Tommy Kubitschek

Tommy Kubitschek is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Media Relations Director and Senior Communications Strategist for the Michigan Democratic Party since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Regional Press Secretary and Press Assistant at the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee from May 2021 to June 2023, and Deputy Press Secretary at the Democratic Party of Wisconsin in 2020. Earlier, Tommy interned at The Office of Barack and Michelle Obama, managing press requests, and held various positions including Digital Communications Intern at Voto Latino and Press Intern for Senator Catherine Cortez Masto. Tommy began a career in communications with a Congressional internship and has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from The George Washington University.
